Blog Heaven

I'm doing a lot of thinking about blogging—which will not surprise my fellow blog addicts!

And, I want to hear from you...Your stories of Blog Heaven and Blog "The Other Place." Your fears and questions. Your insights and anecdotes. Don't worry about who you are, veteran or newbie. Let's just recline in this great big cyberfield and tell our stories. It's summer, after all. The season where stories bloom over leisure and lemonade.

Nice blog. Yes this virtual world we live in is certainly a mixed blessing. Heaven, perhaps in building a community with like-minded souls, but Hell in that it is admittidly addictive and, let's face it, not all that useful in helping us with our daily lives or relationships (unless escaping them is helpful). A bit like the reality we recognize when we lecture our kids about TV "why do you always sit in front of that thing...go out and throw the ball around....or....get up and play with your brother, he's moping around"

Actually, now that I think about it, I wonder if Heaven is probably less a place filled with like-minded souls than a place of other-minded souls: a colorful, noisy, exciting, tension-filled marketplace.

For somehow who calls him (or her?) self a muddlebrain, you have an awfully clear vision of life... and a hopeful picture of heaven.

Blogging is just another hue on the increasingly gray-scale palette of my life.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Sometimes a waste of time. Sometimes a perfectly useful way to process.

Never always one way.

Increasingly gray-scale... interesting. I would have thought blogging might bring color.

Thanks for your honest, balanced expression.

Great blog, great post. Glad to have discovered your work....

I think it is very helfpul to step back and reflect on the forms and structures, the healthy and not-so-healthy attitudes, and the way the blogsphere shapes our writing, our views of things, our hearts. So good for you. Thanks much.
