Inspired by Candy

Candy-Colored Notebooks

I have become enamored with candy. Funny, because I am not a candy-eater. But the colors, the colors have really taken me.

So of course now I am looking at everything through candy-colored glasses. And today, when I needed to buy new notebooks, I settled on these...

candies.

Cheerful and bright...do you think it is a secret longing for spring's bright colors in the middle of winter? I know I am longing for yellow daffodils and pink tulips :)

Ah, that pinterest board. I spent a good long while there. And I'll be back. Just lovely!

And what holds more promise than fresh notebooks?

I'm not on Pinterest, but I took a look at your link. Such rich and delicious colors in those photos.

Also, I particularly liked these two bite-sized (candy-sized?) poems:

I am rose-water, petaled-sugar, pearl-pink love

and

You seeded my chocolate with lavender dreams, rich fragrance of love

That petaled-sugar bit was especially tasty, as was the chocolate seeded with lavender. Fun (and yummy)!

Thanks so much for sharing!

Something about those writing supplies that can motivate and inspire. Even if it is just about choosing the right colors!

I can still smell the colored pencils I used in first grade...

I had looked at your board just before leaving for a trip to western PA. While walking around a small town there, I saw a candy-colored flatiron building. It made me think of you and smile.

I don't but I guess I should since that is what everyone is doing. I just feel I don't have any more time!
